Go Far Running Company

Go Far Running Company was founded by passionate runners Elizabeth and her coach, Johnny, with the mission to empower fellow runners to achieve their goals while staying injury free. 
 
The dynamic duo's partnership ignited in Atlanta, where Elizabeth sought Johnny's expertise to tackle a persistent bout of runner's knee. With Johnny's guidance, Elizabeth adjusted her stride mechanics and began a targeted strength regimen. In mere weeks, her knee pain was alleviated and she was back to crushing miles. 
 
Empowered by their success, Elizabeth and Johnny resolved to extend their support to runners like themselves. Their mission? To craft programs that not only propel runners towards their goals but also safeguard them from the setbacks of common injuries, thus paving a smoother path to progress.

About Our Process

Smart Run Training

We take an evidence based approached to training, mixing science, athlete input, and our own experience to create the best possible programs.

Hybrid Functional Strength Training (HFST)

Hybrid training is the no-junk-miles approach to strength training. It’s about finding the minimum effective dose to get strong and move efficiently. It also reduces the running volume.

Pre-hab

We don't wait for injuries to happen. We proactively prevent them by including pre-hab into all of our plans.

Mobility & Recovery

Our programs have weekly mobility and recovery work to keep your muscles pliable and reduce the amount of muscle soreness. 

Meet the Coaches

Elizabeth Beck (UESCA Run Coach, NASM Trainer)

Elizabeth Beck is a dedicated coach, passionate runner, and mom of two young children. Her coaching journey began at Burn Boot Camp as a group fitness instructor. She ran her first half marathon in 2013, and since then, her passion for running has grown exponentially. Driven by this enthusiasm, she pursued her run coaching certification through UESCA, with the mission to educate and inspire runners to surpass their own expectations.

As an athlete, Elizabeth's accomplishments range from 5Ks to ultramarathons. She is currently pursuing an ambitious goal to complete a half marathon in all 50 states.

ironman

Johnny Bouchard (MS CFL3, LMT) 

Johnny Bouchard is a coach and licensed manual therapist with backgrounds in sports therapy, rehab, & strength/conditioning - and of course training for endurance athletes. He has owned and operated CrossFit gyms, worked with NFL, MLS, MLB, and D1 collegiate teams and trained and treated hundreds of distance runners and multi-sport athletes.

As an athlete he has ran a sub 3:00 hour marathon, completed every distance of triathlon (including a full Ironman) and has a blue belt in jiu-jitsu.
